Get ahead using the new Reports 2.0
Improve your reporting capabilities with Reports 2.0. Authorised users can now benefit from Mediaocean’s new Reports 2.0 module. Reports 2.0 is a powerful reporting tool that enables you to create and work with your own custom reports.
Reports 2.0 has all the fields you’re used to working within the original Reports module.
Custom reports made easy. Create your own highly-customised reports using the following datasets:
- RFPS
- Outstanding proposals
- Proposal audits
- Orders
Develop your reports further using additional features such as the widgets, which enable you to display the data in multiple formats.
Report templates are available for each dataset if you need some assistance.
Excellent report management features. Share your custom reports with individual users, or use the reporting group feature to give access to a defined group.
Schedule regular report deliveries to one or more recipients to ensure everyone is kept up to date.
Organize and categorise your reports using tags created by your administrators.
Reports 2.0 access and permissions. Your administrators can apply one of the following New Reporting options to a role to control access and permissions at the module level for users with that role, with additional settings able to be applied at an individual report level by the report creator or owner:
- Display: Users can access Reports 2.0, and, dependent on an individual report’s permissions, view, filter and download existing reports they have been given access to.
- Design: Users can create, and then edit, copy, create a schedule for, and delete their custom reports. Their actions available for reports owned by another user depend on the permissions set for the individual report by its creator.

What is happening with the original Reports module? The original Reports (1.0) module will still be available to you for a while, giving you time to recreate your existing custom reports in Reports 2.0.
Order revision workflow enhancement
Prevent submission of unchanged orders during revision. Now when you revise an order, the Send button is only made available if at least one value is updated, and the current value differs from the value on the previous version. This prevents you from unnecessarily submitting an unchanged order version (for example, you might make changes and then accidentally revert them).
This applies to both manual updates and imported details.
Updates for OOH buys
Include marketplace on your proposal import and export for OOH. You can now specify a marketplace for your print proposals for OOH when you import or export your proposal details, providing an alternative to manually entering them in the grid.
Improved flexibility and granularity for OOH. You can now classify your print OOH buys more accurately with the following new inventory types (buy categories):
- Bulletin
- Newsstand
- Sponsorship
- Transit Shelter
New marketplace options for your Audio buys
More granular classification of audio buys. You can now report more accurately on your local and national audio buys using the new Local and National marketplaces.
